It depends, but usually clients of geiko and maiko are politicians, CEOs,businessmen, perhaps a successful actor/actress, doctors, etc. The price for an evening with a geiko includes the fees of geiko/maiko(per hour, I believe), cost of the evening’s meal, cost of the drink, ochaya’s fee etc, so in my opinion it’s hard to estimate a total price. However, there are places like Gion Corner, where you can watch a maiko’s performace for a much cheaper ticket. Also, some hotels in Kyoto organise a big banquet for their guest with a maiko/geiko :)
