Hi! Thank you so much *w* ♥I’m so glad that you like it! Yeah it’s quite common because sometime a “mother”/okasan cannot handle the okiya herself so she have someone for help probably know as the “aunty” but the “mother” stay as her “mother” position you understand? I have a great one after 13h of road XD Have a lovely day ♥

Hello!!! First let me start by saying I love your blog. It's always very informative. I was wondering. I read Geisha: A Life. the author called the head of her house "aunty" and another woman "mother". It this common in the Geisha community? That is a woman deferring authority to another? Hope u have a great nite!
