Shared with permission from Danielle (@dlbrabazon1 on Instagram). New maiko Fukuna (ふく那) with onesan Fukue (ふく恵)! It was raining heavily so they didn’t go around and do introductions, but they did kindly pose for photographers and greet people who passed by.
Side Note: The woman who ducks off to the right of the frame is actually Fukuna’s mother! She was very proud of her daughter and happy that she could see that she was making her dreams come true!
