Memoirs of a Geisha is a fantastic movie and an even far more fantastic novel by Arthur Golden.
The Novel
The novel is so beautifully written and it shows more detail into the life of a geisha, its a must read.
The film, is so well cast and and its worth watching just for the beauty of everything- from the costumes to the sets.
The film features two well-known Chinese actresses Gong Li (far right) and Zhang ZIyi(far left).
